Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite of FreemasonryThe Scottish Rite is one of the three branches of Freemasonry in which a Master Mason, (3rd Degree), may proceed after he has completed the three degrees of Symbolic, Blue or Craft Lodge Masonry. Although similar, in Canada we prefer using the term Craft Lodge. To become a Scottish Rite Mason, you must first be a Master Mason in good standing. You may approach a 32° Scottish Rite Mason to inquire about the next step in joining the Scottish Rite.
York RiteThe York Rite is one of the two bodies of Freemasonry in which a Master Mason may proceed to supplement and amplify the Blue Lodge degrees, affording historical background on the work and meaning of Freemasonry.
The York Rite takes its name from the old English City of York. It is said that Athelstan, a British king, was converted to Christianity in York and that he granted the original charter to the Masonic guilds in that city nearly a thousand years ago. Although the York Rite is not a religion in itself, it does develop themes based on the Christian Crusades.
In the York Rite, a Master Mason may become a member of three bodies – a chapter of Royal Arch Masons, a council of Royal and Select Masters and Preceptory of Knights Templar.
Every Master Mason may choose to achieve either the 32nd degree Scottish Rite or Knights Templar of the York Rite before he petitions to become a Shriner. He may also choose to achieve these degrees after becoming a Shriner.
Order of the Eastern StarThe Order of the Eastern Star is the largest fraternal organization in the world to which both men and women may belong. It encircles the earth with over 10,000 Chapters in the United States, Canada and many other countries. Though its teachings are based on the Bible, the Order of the Eastern Star espouses no religion and is neither secret nor political. Its members are comprised of men who are Master Masons and women with specific Masonic relationships.
Khartum ShrinersThe Shrine was founded in 1872 by a group of 13 men belonging to the Masonic Order. It was originally established to provide fun and fellowship for its members. But as the organization grew, its members decided to dedicate their efforts to helping others by establishing an official Shrine philanthropy — a network of specialized hospitals that have provided expert medical care to more than 835,000 children, free of charge.

Winnipeg Chapter, Order of DeMolayDeMolay, the premier international youth leadership organization, striving to shape young men into leaders of character.
By epitomizing timeless values, and accepting the challenge of leadership – both of character and of action – the young men of DeMolay transform themselves into citizens of the highest caliber.
Each young man takes ownership of his DeMolay experience. From generating ideas, planning events, coordinating logistics, and executing their plans, each DeMolay Chapter is responsible for defining their success. All of this is accomplished under the mentorship of trained Advisors, selected from the local community, enabling each Chapter to be uniquely tailored to support the interests of its members.
DeMolay is an inclusive organization that only asks of young men interested to believe in a higher being.
A high level of involvement and enthusiasm is far more important for success in DeMolay than any particular skill or ability.
